McCoin & Smith Communications Inc was founded by senior, industry practitioners who were frustrated with the mentality that high-caliber PR service should not cost companies an arm and a leg. In addition, McCoin & Smith was not formed as a result of the "Dot.Com" bust, but rather in advance of the "Dot.Com" boom. Chris McCoin and Rick Smith had a specific agenda in mind, which was to create a PR practice where technology organizations could leverage the most strategic communications counsel across all facets of their communications programs at an affordable price point.

Our firm is comprised of senior-level communications professionals who have extensive experience and success in worldwide, high technology public relations, marketing and marketing communications in both corporate and agency environments. At McCoin & Smith there are no interns, no recent graduates and no VPs with only five years experience. Our most junior-level staff member has more than 14 years of experience in communications, which means each member of our team knows exactly how to develop the right message, how to sell it to the appropriate audiences and how to deliver the ROI our clients expect.

Together, McCoin & Smith Communications brings to its accounts decades of relevant, high technology, agency and corporate experience that directly affects the overall strategic direction, specific approach, and required results throughout each phase of our client's communications programs.
